Welcome Sofar
Society For Advocacy and Reforms (So-FAR) is secular, not-for-profit organization registered under the Societies' Registration Act of 1860. We were set up in 2007, and since then have been raising resources to protect the rights of People and provide relief to them through various interventions. We are committed to working towards the development and empowerment of the socially and economically marginalized communities in Madhya Pradesh, through a range of initiatives in Advocacy, RTI, health care, education, child rights and relief, and community development. We promote participatory development and participatory governance through capacity building, direct field action, model building, research and advocacy.
So-FAR develops locally suitable economic activities; mobilizes finances; and introduces systems to improve livelihoods of the poor and sustain their progress. So-Far's rights based approach helps bring lasting improvements to the lives of vulnerable and marginalized people. The process of community building affirms that all people have the innate capacity to develop themselves and be the protagonists of their own future. It furthers empowerment, not dependency. It promote tolerance and understanding. It encourages the recognition of positive values in one's own culture and respect for the culture of others.
So-FAR work to promote social or political change on a broad scale or very locally. So-FAR play a critical part in developing society, improving communities, and promoting citizen participation. sdfcsdfds
