SO-FAR is a leading voluntary organization in MP working on development of the rural poor using strategies of awareness generation, community mobilization through self-help groups, economic empowerment, education, health, skills development, and vocational training SO-FAR is registered under the Madhya Pradesh Societies Registration Act.

Position: Project Assistant, Indegenious Knowledge

Location: Ujjain, Malwa Region, with travel to remote areas in Malwa
Projcet will Start by 01st Dec. 2014
The member will give thematic inputs for Programs and facilitate implementation through field team.The position will also involve interfacing with different stakeholders including Government.
Candidates should be energetic, have a relevant B.A or Bsc (Agriculture) and a minimum of 6 months of experience in the development sector, in the thematic areas of Natural Resource Management or Livelihoods. Candidates must possess a reasonable command on integrated rural development projects, a very good understanding of the sector and the policies, and a good command over English language.
The job Profile
a. Project Calibration: Taking stock of project progress and providing appropriate guidance to field team.
b. Technical inputs: Carrying out detailed design for project elements and providing specialised, technical inputs for the project activities.
c. Documentation with photographs.
